Do you want to submit a paper for consideration for the CSAE Conference 2024? Or have you already made a submission but would like to make a change? Our conference uses Oxford Abstracts, an online submission system, to manage abstract and paper submissions.
The call for papers will open very soon and will close on 19 September 2023 23:59 BST.
Follow the two steps below to create your Oxford Abstracts account and submit your paper.
You will receive an email from Oxford Abstracts asking you to verify your email address. Click the 'verify email' button in this email.
When your account is created, you will see a generic message asking you to go to the conference website you are interested in. Enter the CSAE Conference 2024 Submission Form link into your browser again and this will take you to the CSAE Conference 2024 submission form (and now you have an Oxford Abstracts account).
Step 2. Complete the CSAE Conference 2024 submission form
Once you have created an Oxford Abstracts account you will be able to submit a paper for consideration to the Conference. You must fill in all required fields (the form allows you to leave your submission incomplete, so please be aware that you must ensure all fields are filled in yourself).
Follow the link to the CSAE Conference 2024 submission form.
Complete all the fields in the submission form.
When you have filled in all the fields on a page of the form, click 'Next' in the bottom right of the page to move on to the next page. If you have not filled in a field that is required, a notification box will appear to let you know that you need to go back and fill this in.
Submit and complete your form.
When you have completed all of the form information and uploaded your paper, you can then click 'Submit' in the bottom right hand corner of page 3 of the form. You will then see all of your submission information for you to review.
If you need to make a change to the information, click 'Amend' in the top left hand corner, this will take you back to the form to edit your information. If you have completed all required fields and are happy with your submission information, please click 'Complete'.
If you do not complete all required fields, your submission will be 'incomplete' and will not considered. In this instance you will receive an email letting you know that your submission is incomplete and you will have until the submission deadline (19 September 2023) to complete the submission.
How do I know if my submission is complete and will be considered?
You will receive a confirmation email called 'CSAE Conference 2023 Submission Confirmation' to the email address connected to your Oxford Abstracts account when your submission is complete.
If you receive an email called 'CSAE Conference 2023 Incomplete Submission - Action Required' then you must log back into your Oxford Abstracts account to fill in all required fields in the form and then complete your submission.
You must submit an abstract AND upload a full draft of your paper.
You can only submit one paper.
The abstract word limit is 500 words, and the paper file size limit is 10MB.
Please do not use ALL CAPITALS in the title of your paper. Use sentence capitalisation or capitalise only the first letters of words in the title.
A co-authored paper/abstract should be submitted by only one of the authors.
Only the individual submitting the paper will receive notification regarding accepted papers.
Ensure that you have completed your form by the 19 September 2023, any incomplete forms will on this date will not be considered.
Selecting a Topic
We are inviting submissions of all papers in development economies, and we ask you to select one of our broad topics to help the refereeing process. You can find out more about the topics by viewing our topic information page.
Editing your Submission
You can edit your submission details at any time prior to the closing date for submissions (19 September 2023). If you need to make a change, you will need to:
Click on the 'Edit' button next to your submission. This will take you to the submission form and you can edit any fields you would like to change.
Click the 'next' buttons at the bottom right hand side of the page to continue through the form and then select the 'complete' button on page 3.
If you leave any required fields blank, your submission will be considered 'incomplete' and it will not be considered for the CSAE Conference 2024. Make sure that you complete all required fields in the form before submitting your paper. You will receive an email from us either confirming your submission or letting you know that it is incomplete and asking you to log back in.
Withdrawing your submission
You can withdraw your paper at any time by emailing us to let us know at email@example.com. You will then receive an email notification to let you know that your paper has been withdrawn.
Once we have deleted your submission, there is no way to retrieve it. If you change your mind after your paper has been withdrawn, you can resubmit your paper by going through the submission process again from the beginning, as long as the submission deadline has not passed.
