WELCOME TO THE CSAE CONFERENCE 2026

The CSAE Conference is a three day event with a keynote, panels, and parallel sessions on a series of development economics topics.
This conference brings together colleagues from across the development economics community to discuss Africa.

This will be a particularly special year for the CSAE Conference as we will be celebrating the CSAE's 40th birthday in 2026.

FUNDING

There is a limited budget to fund African presenters who are currently living and working in Africa, and who were travelling from Africa to the CSAE Conference 2026. If awarded, funded participants attend both a pre-conference workshop in late 2025 as well as the CSAE Conference 2026 in March 2026, in Oxford, UK.
