Lottie Field

Lottie is a pre-doctoral research assistant who works as part of the Industrial Policy Group for Nathan Lane and Réka Juhász. She is particularly interested in the political economy of the design and implementation of industrial policies. This has led her to gain specialism in working with messy data: developing systems that allow us to gain big-picture insights from our complex world. For example, she developed the Bureaucrat or Politician (BoP) method to classify organisations as political or non-political based on whether their leaders are politicians or non-politicians.
